Concha features custom-designed LEDs housed in a brass rod that runs through a ceramic shade with a crawl glaze finish.

Each shade is individually molded, meticulously detailed, and imbued with a one-of-a-kind charm and character. The rod spreads a warm light, illuminating the textured glaze and intricate details.

Lit or unlit, the minimal construction of the lamp accentuates the sculptural quality of Concha as it appears to float off the wall, creating a moment of intrigue in any interior.

Concha is a collaboration between ceramicist Kalya O’Donoghue of Kalya OD Studio and lighting designers Eric Beam and Ravi Varma of Beam&Sun. Together, they sought to create a harmonious relationship between design, engineering, and craft in their new lighting concept, featuring Beam&Sun’s innovative lighting components and Kalya OD Studio’s dedication to experimentation and craft.
